About Me
Hello, I’m Jenni—a photographer, writer, and multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto. My creative journey is guided by the Japanese philosophy of oubaitori—the belief that we all grow and bloom at our own pace. This idea has become a quiet, powerful force in my life, shaping how I approach art and allowing me to embrace my evolution with patience, curiosity, and authenticity.

What began as a love of capturing fleeting moments has grown into a more intentional pursuit of storytelling. As I progress through my studies in Photography Media Arts, I am stepping more fully into my identity as an artist—finding my voice, refining my craft, and discovering the themes that draw me in. My work is no longer just about documenting the world—it is about crafting stories that reflect both who I am and how I see the world.
For me, art is a journey of becoming: a way of understanding myself and the world around me, of uncovering the quiet beauty of human experience and the resilience found in the overlooked. Whether through photography, writing, digital art, or video, I am continually exploring new ways to express an evolving vision.
Joubaitori is my creative journal—a space to share not only finished pieces but also the process, the experiments, and the discoveries along the way. As I expand into new mediums, I remain dedicated to honouring personal growth, authenticity, and meaningful storytelling.
Through my work, I hope to inspire others to embrace their own creative journeys, to find beauty in the unconventional, and to feel seen in the stories I share. This is my ongoing exploration of what it means to be an artist—one piece at a time.
